A gesture of peace, captured and shared. Nearly 25 years later, Architects of Peace returns, not to reflect on the past, but to shape what comes next. Through story, image, and action, we honor those who lead with compassion, and inspire and empower the next generation to do the same.
THE BOOK & THE EXHIBITION
In 2000, Michael Collopy’s powerful portraits of peacemakers captured the spirit and resolve of those working to end conflict,prevent violence, achieve positive change, and transform societies. Nearly 25 years later, Architects of Peace: The Next Generation builds on that legacy by reimagining what peace leadership looks like today. The new book will feature portraits and reflections from some of the most dynamic and courageous young peacebuilders of our time. Partner exhibitions will showcase the portraits across the country. Possible subjects (and summit participants) include Malala Yousafzai, Greta Thunberg, Nemonte Nenquimo, and more.
