Each component builds on the others, creating a dynamic ecosystem that celebrates, inspires, and equipsthe next generation to lead the way toward a more peaceful and just future.

Training the Next Generation of Peace Entrepreneurs

In early Fall 2027, Architects of Peace: The Next Generation, in partnership with the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution and United Earth Networks, will host the Youth Peace Leaders.

Summit at historic Fort Worden State Park and Conference Center in Port Townsend, Washington.

This live/work gathering will bring together 120 emerging peace leaders from across the globe to become catalysts for peace in their communities.

Through this powerful program, participants will gain the tools, mentorship, and global connections needed to design and launch meaningful peace projects.

Phase 1: Preparation

Laying the Foundation

Selected participants complete a self-paced online course created by the Carter School.

  • The course and the interactive network will:

  • Introduce key peacebuilding and conflict resolution tools.

  • Include project design, implementation strategies, and leadership training.

  • Build a shared foundation for collaboration across cultures and contexts.

Phase 2: The Youth Summit

Inspiration Meets Action

  • A week-long immersive summit where participants learn, share, brainstorm, and co-create peace initiatives.

  • Talks that feature renowned peace leaders (in-person and virtual).

  • Hands-on training and working groups, which foster collaboration, creativity, and peace entrepreneurship.

  • Participants leave with clear, actionable plans to implement back home.

Phase 3: Action & MentorShip

Sustaining the Momentum

  • Participants return home to launch and refine their projects.

  • Supported by a global network of mentors, peers, and peacebuilders.

  • Access to a digital platform with toolkits, funding pathways, and training resources.

  • Continuous mentorship helps turn ideas into impact — connecting participants topartners and funders.
